The app does not see your positions

Board recognition and engine analysis both run on your device. Positions you scan are not uploaded, not logged and not visible to us. There is no account to create and no profile attached to your use of the app.

What this website collects

Nothing, until you agree to it. Analytics scripts are not loaded at all unless you press Accept on the banner. If you decline, or simply ignore it, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics requests are made.

If you do accept, Google Analytics 4 records:

• which pages you viewed and in what order;
• approximate location, derived from a truncated IP address — we never receive the full address;
• device type, browser and screen size;
• which App Store or Google Play button you pressed, and from which section of the page.

We use this to understand which parts of the site actually help people find the app. It is never combined with anything that identifies you personally.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes request logs — including IP addresses — to serve pages and to protect against abuse. We also use Vercel’s privacy-friendly analytics, which is cookieless and does not track visitors across sites.

Shared positions

When you share a position from the app, the position itself is encoded in the link. Opening such a link tells our server nothing beyond a normal page request; the position is never stored.

Your choices

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which resets the consent banner. Under the GDPR you may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and may complain to your national data protection authority.
