A position was read wrongly

Take the screenshot again with the whole board visible and nothing overlapping it — that clears up most misreads. If a particular board theme or piece set fails consistently, send us the screenshot that failed. That is the single most useful thing you can give us: recognition improves theme by theme, from real examples.

Does it work offline?

Yes, completely. If something behaves as though it needs a connection, that is a bug worth reporting.
